Still Watching !
9 years 4 months ago
Greetings to you all from the toilet of Europe (aka the UK) !
Although I do not currently have a 1300 right now I am a die hard avid fan of the breed and have owned, restored and built many 1300's over the last 35 years or so and know them inside out as a result. You can see 2 of them on the front page..........which is a real compliment and privilege........thanks Bill.
Anyway, I do check in on the site when I can just to see if I can help anyone and look at the superb work and bikes you all enjoy.
Currently riding a 99 Vmax which is my other obsession along side the 1300 and the 5th I have owned (had over 10 1300s).
Ride safe and best wishes
Pete F

Pete Hi, glad your still keeping an eye on Zed13 developments.
I remember your bike, and helpful advice from back when I joined the forum and was learning my way around my Z13. Truth is I am still learning my way around my Z13.
I'm also a Vmax owner -- Ive just restored a 1993 US bike (a genuine one owner 4000 mile bike): just awaiting an age related UK reg plate from DVLA: really hoping to get some miles on her before summer has gone.
Cheers Tim

Thanks for dropping in to say hi!
I've got two 1300s that I am trying to turn into one good one. It hasn't been going well. Stumped at every damned turn. If it wasn't for this place I would have torched the pair of them already.
Sorry... feeling frustrated today. Seem I can't accomplish the simplest of tasks without running into more problems.

Interesting !
I too have found many Vmax owners who also have or have had 1300's.
I think it is the fact they are both real cult bikes which were made for many years and are still going strong.
Agreed that the Z1300 is such a smooth and pleasant bike to ride but the Vmax has sooooooo much torque and grunt and the V boost system is so addictive.
