Plan on doing some touring this summer (if we get one this year ): didn't really fancy putting the mileage on my old bikes, so for the first time in 40yrs of bike ownership I purchased my first ever BMW. The motor is an absolute stormer: so now I have a KZ1300 and a K1300

A very good choice of bike for touring. Have owned four BMW's.Boxer cup, R1150GS, K1200LT (the best but a lard arse of a bike)and the K1200R. A rocket ship.
Enjoy your touring. Any where nice?

AERIAL0; I have a soft spot for the 1100 Boxer Cup replica: a few years ago I went to a bike dealer (On Yer Bike - Aylesbury) to demo one, not sure how it happened, but I ended up riding off on an MV Brutale
Re K1300S touring: hope to do West Coast Scotland with some mates and probably into Northern Spain.

Here is my absolutely awesome 2014 Triumph Rocket Roadster, 2300cc of pure grunt. You have to pick the bugs out from between your teeth after riding as you can't stop grinning.
Can't wait to get my Z1300 on the road and I have a nostelgic trip down memory lane, I am sure the grin factor will be as equally good.

I REALLY like Grunt, That's why I've gone after a KZ13 instead of my old favorite, The Candy Glory Red CBX. You buy horsepower but you drive torque (GRUNT)
