Seems a good friend of ours, Trike builder (Bruce) has found himself in the hospital with A-fib in his Cardiovascular Management System. The symptoms are a double pulse on ventricular cylinders 1 & 2 with a weak erratic pulse on ventricular cylinders 3&4. Now I know your the carburetor guy and not into DFI but we need you to step up to the plate here and fix him up. We'll be lost on this website without all of his input.
Maybe if we could find out what hospital he's in, we could send him down a multi meter with SPECIFIC operating instructions and get him to self diagnose and post. Then the rest of us will stay out of the conversation and on the sidelines while you do your magic on him. Are you up for the task??

(I know if Cindy's reading this to him, he's laughing his ass off which is the intent of the post)

Hi kawboy.

My younger brother and only sibling passed away suddenly on Jan 14/15 from exactly the same type of medical condition so Bruce is lucky that his condition was discovered when it was. I'm sure I speak for most if not all when I extend my best wishes to Bruce for a speedy and full recovery.

Our health is no laughing matter. Unless of course his physician needed 7 pages to diagnose his problem only to have the speacalists discover his blood was never typed !

Bruce had been telling me in one of his e=mails that he is waiting on the approval for a hip replacement ?....when he remained absent from all of the m/c forums....I assumed he was contacted for hip surgery. was quite surprised to read what was printed here today. His knowledge and wit adds greatly to our forums ,and is missed !........................tony

Well, I now have my new left swingarm bearing (left hip). Still not walking, but hope to in another week.

As for my a-fib, I have been battling it since 1972. Just about three years ago they finally got serious about adjusting my meds dose to get better control over it. Until then I was in and out of VA hospitals maybe three times a year to have a shock conversion, but haven't been back since we upped my dosage. YAHOO!

Like Scotch said, a-fib can be very serious and deadly, but with careful monitoring it can be overcome. My last two little Eskie dogs have also contributed by giving me early warning before another episode, giving me about 45 minutes to get to the hospital before it takes me down. Other than the a-fib (of unknown cause) my heart is very strong, probably why it hasn't quit yet. My last episode was just a fluke and hit rapidly. they upped my dosage again because of it, so I'm hoping it may all be behind me.

Once I'm walking pain-free I will be getting back onto my Hondasaki drive project. Sorry I won't get it done and tested in time for Tony (Lucasind) to use this summer, but maybe toward the end of the season.

Kawboy, don't you know that I am a V-16? maybe that's why my mind has so much trouble coordinating all those firing pulses smoothly! BTW, through bio-feedback and concentration I can cause my heart to skip a few beats, and I sure had fun with one of the nurses when she was taking my EKG. Of course I got a lecture from the cardio doc about that! Just no sense of humor!

But, bottom line is, I'M BAAAAAAACK!

Well I for one, am glad your back. You've got a good soul. Live well, and keep teaching the Doctors how to get a sense of humor. They're not all dull. I have a 6'3" tall Irishman for a Gastoenterologist who's been keeping me alive and he's an absolute riot. Swears like a trooper, drinks beer after the last man goes down and rides a bad azzed Valkyrie when he's not being a surgeon. Life's all what you make of it.
