OEM reproduction Carb.-floats
10 years 2 months ago - 10 years 2 months ago
The cost associated with the tooling, manufacture and minimum order requirements for a commercially manufactured OEM type float is cost prohibitive and this pursuit has been dropped.
Over this past summer and based on my original brass-floats design made for my own "1300' over nine years ago I am now creating proprietary jigs and a die/mandrel for making all the required parts. This new design now has a brass pivot and needle-tang.
When I am satisfied with the end product I will let this forum know. I am anticipating producing sets of 3 on a per request basis. The price has yet to be determined as I am continuing to refine and simplify the entire process so I can supply them at a reasonable price.
Anyone interested can private message me.
