Fuel Pressure Regulator Upgrade
10 years 7 months ago
Hi Guys
I want to upgrade my Fuel pressure regulator with a Custom adjustable product for my KZ1300DFI has anyone else done this and if so what are the problems or issues I should be aware of or could run into ?
Also what is the best custom regulator to use for this application and where can I purchase it ?
Thanks
Chad

I used a Sard adjustable fuel pressure regulator, they're not cheap but are known to be among the best available. Be sure to buy from a reputable source as there are counterfeit ones out there from China. Also, don't use silicone tubing for the vacuum take-off as in the pic of the one fitted to my 13 as I found that fuel somehow finds it's way down inside it & degrades the silicone. Unable to do an Ebay link but look at listing no. 261294537075.
