Zed-Parts Carb Diaphragms

Thought I'd share.

I recently purchased a batch of new carburetor diaphragms from Zed-Parts.com.
Happy to report that they are, IMHO, even better than OEM, even when OEM was new.

A couple of pics...

The notch 'clocking' is spot-on.
Note I had 'good' OEM diaphragms previously installed. With OEM, the slides would easily return to idle position after lifting to full throttle position using finger to lift up.

After installing ZP diaphragms, I was surprised to see the response even better.

Scotch and KawBoy -
I'd be willing to send you 1 each of the ZP diaphragms for you to look at, touch, feel, play with.
I value your experience and opinions and would like to know your thoughts.
(I only ask you send them back or replace with ZP new units, as the 18 I bought are needed to refurbish my spare racks)..

Let me know -

Don

At this point, I have everything all boxed up since moving back in August 2025 and won't be pulling anything out till probably mid summer this year. House renovating is in full swing, so thanks for the offer but not at this time.

Hi Don
I live in the UK and Zed Parts stuff is always top Quality, OZ who runs it is passionate about Z13s and used to rebuild engines and carbs for Z13 owners until ill health stopped him doing the engines[i believe he still does the carbs] they are a great source for hard to get parts although i would imagine the shipping and customs charges make it a bit painful to import to US

Oz and Debbie are the BEST! Yes, Oz shared with me his health conditions. He has also been great about sharing techie info about these carbs. And one time, just once mind you, I was able to provide info to Oz he didn't know.. That made my week!

and Yes. The tariffs suck.. but like everything else, there are ways then there are ways...
