DFI vacuum tubes
8 hours 28 minutes ago
Hi All
Working on balancing throttle bodies on an 84 ZGT30A.
The ports for cylinders three and four have a connected tube, that looks like it may have connected to the bottom of the fuel pressure regulator, which has been replaced.
Just want to confirm where it is supposed to go as I cant see anywhere else.
If so, why would Kawasaki do that? I thought the pressure regulator would just be a spring.
Thanks

Those 2 vacuum ports were for the exhaust gas re-circulation/emission control gubbins on the carb models. Not sure they were used on the injection models

Thank you for that information.
Glad I asked, as I would not have been able to figure that out.
My bike does have those additional pollution covers on the valve/tappet cover but not connected to anything.
Tubes are gone now
Cheers
