Jet Needle Component Assembly Order
1 month 3 days ago
Good evening all,
I'm reassembling the carbs from my 1979 Z1300 A1 and am a little unsure of the assembly order of the components on the main jet needles. The PO had them all over the place, ie: different order on different carbs, and the parts catalogue doesn't appear to be definitive enough.
From the top down, the Parts Catalogue appears to suggest:
(Top of needle jet)
- Nylon collar ("Ring")
- Circlip
- Aluminium washer
- Spring
(and pointy end of needle below this)
Is this correct?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Scotch. The needles in the carbs were nowhere near that order when disassembled!
Your help is much appreciated. I'm going to get this bike to run properly if it's the last thing I ever do.........
