Please allow a question from an amateur in reference to the topic discussed: if I ready right you are using NGK spark plugs BP...6.. - is that the correct temperature segment ?
The handbook I have is listing NGK BR8ES. Just wondering ... ?
Holger
Holger, the manual has that wrong. The correct plugs are BPR6ES and you can go to BPR5ES for a hotter plug if needed.  I use the NGK BPR6ES Iridium equivalents and they are fantastic.
What is your place of residence?
What climate do you move through?
Cold, warm, temperate?
I say this because of the temperature rating used in the spark plugs.

I'm running BPR6ES and live in 20F winter weather and 100+F summer weather.

Although, I don't ride the 'water heater' that much in summer. Too hot!
