What Fuel Pump For 1980?

Hi All,
I have read that you recommend putting an electric fuel pump on the carb models. But which fuel pump do I buy? I have a 1980 KZ 1300. I removed the fuel solenoid, which was not working, and bypassed it. Bike runs good, once it's started, but is a real PAIN to get started. Please tell me what fuel pump you are using.
Thanks
-Jim

I can't think of any requirement where a fuel pump is needed to fill carburetors. A well vented fuel tank (and there have been issues with this)  a clean fuel filter that flows( and you can test for this) + proper routing of the fuel line,   and I see no need for a fuel pump.
There have been lots of starting issues reported and Scotch came up with a choke mod and has been tested by a few members with great success. See link.
