carb kits
3 years 7 months ago
Hi Gents
i have decided its time to fit some carb kits to my bike after struggling to sort my mixtures and wondered if anyone has any recommendations, i am going to steer clear of the really cheap ones as i have seen some dodgy comments on them although the keyster ones at £55 a carb seem a bit pricey but i only want to do it once so am leaning towards those
as always many thanks for your help

I've rebuilt carbs with several different aftermarket kits and had no issues with one exception. Personally; I buy the 3X kits at the best price I can find. Taiwan made kits seem fine. Regardless of what you purchase DO NOT use the float needle valve retainer springs included in these kits UNLESS you've ensured they do not obstruct the needle from free travel. Best to reuse the original !
