Carb Synchronized idea.
4 years 6 months ago
I had an idea about the synchronizers tools of the carburetors, What are you think of.
Here, if we join cylinder 1 and 2 using a plastic Y on the same pledge,(gage) 3 & 4 on another gage and the same for 5 & 6. is this better than just synchronizing 1,3,6 and then 2,4,5 and take the approximately midlle. It because I only have a 4 game kit, I can not make the 6 separate at the same time.

Not sure about this, I appreciate those cylinders share a carb but they have different induction cycles. I bought an additional pair of gauges for mine and mounted them on a bit of aluminium profile.

If you use 3 good quality and accurate vacuum gauges and take your time doing it, you will get them 99% spot on.
Make sure your mixtures are all set properly before.
I have tried with 3 and 6 gauges over the years, and after setting up with 6 then checking with 3..............there is no worthy difference worth considering in my opinion.
