Would Mikuni be interested ? I doubt it. Unless they'd miraculously decide to make these small jets from Titanium...........and then who could afford them? BUT......they'd last "forever"!
Nothing special about the microscope. Just a $150.00 single eye-piece - 400X. And yes....getting the light down that little opening with the turret right on top of the jet was challenging. The LED back-light was Ok for getting the orifice pictures. A separate light-source as close as could be obtained and shining down, got the inlet and outlet pictures.
A GOOD quality Jewellers-Loop would work. Until now I've used the magnifying eye-piece from an old video-camera but it's limitations are obvious given that using it didn't show the fine details.

Dr.Scotch- Chief of Jetology. Lord only nows why you have a microscope in the first place, but I'm glad you do.
So when you get a new set of jets from Mikuni, could you post a pic of what a new jet should look like please ( and thank you)

Sorry Dr. Scotch but my time machine also needs a set of camshafts and the way things are progressing, it will be a while before I can go back for the appointment.:silly: I will call your assistant for booking once the cams are done.In the meantime, don't have too much fun at the office !
I see your Emoji box is back. Thought I might borrow one (or 2)

Never mind the laparoscopy - just get me an appointment with your gorgeous assistant. That would make me feel a LOT better!
