No problem there, have built ca. 50 r/c planes over the years.

I've been in and out of the R/C plane hobby most of my life, as well. The last one built was a Yellow Aircraft MK14 Spit. "Done to the nuts" (rivets) it has never been in the air although It did get close with some high-speed taxi-tests to work the oleos ! I deviated from the hobby somewhat to start skydiving 18 yrs ago and it's been in a custom shipping-crate ever since. Maybe time to stretch"her" legs, again !

That explains why the R/C lingo comes to you naturally, while I couldn't even make it out since I never made in! haha
By coincidence I just watched model planes and machines on youtube. Some very impressive stuff! There is a model of a passenger Boeing and it's huge! Looks like a real plane. But in terms of visually impressive mechanical fabrication, I'd give it to the guy who crafted a steam locomotive. Designing and machining all the moving parts etc., that's a lot of work! I am sure you've seen the miniature internal combustion engines as well. They look like functional artwork to keep on your desk.
