New air filters for our bikes in case your carburetor rubber grommets have started or are all ready cracked/perishing

They work great without rejeting! The 1300’s were build to run very rich to begin with

Having so many bikes, how many turns of A/F screw do you suggest on first start up? The manual says 1 1/4, but that's apparently very lean.

Manual is wrong. Start at 3.5 turns

You'll not likely get the bike to start on only 1.5 turns. Every set of carbs I've rebuilt got set to an arbitrary 3.5 turns and then the Color-Tube 'tweaks" that setting.

Good stuff, thanks.

Anyone used wideband A/F meter? I have one and am wondering about mounting it on a steel rod and sticking it into the exhaust pipe besides the Colortune.
