For many years I used a vacuum shutoff in the line in place of the electric dodad. It worked well but now after 10 years of not being used it has rusted just as the electric thing did.

Ok you all have me worried now, I just leave the tap on, of course with the sidecar the bike is always upright, and I never thought about flooding with fuel, so went and got an electric solenoid valve and will fit it, still have the plug for the old solenoid valve tucked up near the battery I think, so better safe than sorry I guess, cheers

Hi mate - notice you had an issue with your Z1R? I’m getting the same thing - do you have any info on the fillet cap and venting system pls?
Thanks in advance!
