Tank breather

Tank breather

Hi
is there a simple way to check and clear the tank breather, i have no breather pipe coming off the bottom of the tank and cant remember seeing one since ive had the bike , not sure if its important

Can't believe that this one didn't get answered for you. We had a big topic discussing this a few months ago. Have a look and if you're still preplexed, question us again.

Interesting read, particularly the service builtin about the tank breathing tube causing problem when riding in the rain. Back in 79, my 1300 would frequently stall if ridden in heavy rain. Dealer had no idea how to resolve the problem.
