Idle air screws

Is it unusual for the idle air screws to have yellow paint on them like this?
Just curious as I'm about to strip them down for a thorough clean and adjustment.

Quite common. Usually when a shop does an adjustment, they like to put a sealer paint on the top of the adjusted screws so that if a customer comes in with a driveability issue and the paint is missing on the screws, they can go back on the customer for messing with the adjustment and charge them again for having to do the work again.

Definitely not "factory", the yellow "paint" used should be easily removed with ( ........:Wait for it K.B.) ......
Lacquer Thinner. A couple of drops on each screw will soften/dissolve it easily. Remove most of it first and the idle air screws should come out with no issues.

That was probably more my question, is this factory?
So someone has had a play with these at some stage then. At least I wont need to drill them out I suppose!
