Need 1 part# - 92022C carb-slide duracon washer
9 years 5 months ago - 9 years 5 months ago
A set of carbs I'm rebuilding is missing one diaphram slide washer (spacer). Anybody have one ? P.M. me if you can supply - Thanks, scotch
The requirement for this spacer/washer was noted in the '79 carb rebuild tutorial. It should be additionally noted that the omission of this part drops the needle height the equivalent of one notch on the 5-slot needle which would lean the high end.

I hope somebody has one for you, scotch. Presumably it is not feasible to home-make one. What is Duracon?

Thanks to the generosity of a forum member i have one on the way. Duracon is a name given the fibre-material the spacer is made from. It's temperature and fuel/oil resistant and is softer then the aluminum that it buffers. Having them in place and why is noted in the '79 carb rebuild. tutorial.
