It looks good - very original. I imagine you'll be eager to ride it, and compare it with your blue 1300.
I'm chomping at the bit to ride that bike! She's been thoroughly sorted on the lift...
- steering head, swing arm bearings
- wheel bearings front and rear
- gas tank purged
- new fork seals and dust caps, oil
- valve adjustment
- radiator flush
- front and rear brakes
- front and rear master cylinders
- new Avon tires
- right angle valve stems
- battery ground replaced
- blinker rubbers and stems
etc
It will be fun to ride 'naked' KZ, sans bags, big ass fairing, all that extra weight gone..
Alas that after my tech (not me!) decided to 'dose' the tank after a vinegar wash with a heavy ratio of 2 stroke oil (to prevent flash rusting) that she's not happy now. Wish I had known that was his plan, would have taken the tank to done by a tank 'pro'...
....and it's been raining for days straight!
