I am just giving up on starting this bike because of the resistors and coils. Anyone want to buy?

stan has piggie backed on this portion of the thread because he is having the same problem as me. I dont know stan, we each have our own bike, and probably live in different states.
Just for clarification.
I on the other hand will not be swayed. This beast on an inline 6 is on its way to be purring like a kitten.

Save some $$$$ and your sanity ! And if you can't use a hacksaw to remove the reed boxes - take a case of beer to your local machine shop and have the damned things milled-off. !!

I'm so "freakin" happy that I went this route. I wouldn't consider anything else. Glad I spent a few hours in an auto wrecker looking for the right one. NEVER had a problem AND STILL using the original OEM Ignition controller AND the OEM resistor Block....... that everyone seems to have a "Boner" over getting rid of ! !!!!!
