Remove connecting rods without splitting cases?

Is it possible the remove the con rods by removing the sump only or do you have to split the engine case ??

no, the oil pan is behind the crank, there isn't enough room to reach in and get at the rod caps. Time to split the cases...

The first step is to download the service manual from the box at the right.
