That is pretty clever, so much so that I copied it with existing fuel line and filter that I have on hand. I used an elbow joint to connect the line to the fuel hose joint. I assume that you have no complaints of boiling/evaporating fuel. I enclosed my clear, plastic filter with heat tape, connected the line to the tank, and went for a ride. It was about 85 degrees and had no problem.
