My z1300 needs the oil seals done......smokes when started from cold.
I have a spare head which I stripped down and plan to paint (Hammerite) over the winter. Then I'll rebuild it and swap the heads over then I'll have a smoke free 13.....hopefully !!
I got the new valve stem seals from Zed-parts.com

I also have a spare head, nearly a complete bike, also an A1, spare head has valves that haven't moved in over 10 years, must free them up one day, I did a hone and new standard rings, the rings I took off had a one piece oil ring, replacements were the 3 piece type, maybe I should of gone oversize, but first rebuild of a 1300 and a guy who is a bit on a novice at bike mechanics, compression after re-build was good so I think I did ok.
after tuesday even the calendar goes WTF
