It looks good in the photos.  I guess it will have sold long ago, having been listed 40 weeks since.

Still for sale. Seller is very energetic man! 2nd owner. Bike almost all original. He said brake pistons, new clutch basket and plates, carbs gone through with new brass, new front brake reservoir. Seller lives in Cerritos, CA, Southern California. That's a hotbed of motorbike activity. He had all the work done professionally, says he has an independent shop with techs that are old school. Seller referred to H1's and 2, z900's, CBX etc.

I asked it if it ran hot and he said yes. Has a new T-stat, but I don't think that's the issue. Probably a clogged radiator. Before he started to bring the Kz back to life, it sat since 1996 in a garage. Original owner rode it daily to work.

Current owner asking 6,000 USD but said he'd drop to 5,500 and with that he's upside down, money-wise.

I understand that, but me thinks 5.5k is still high. 

Having said that, might make a ride to Cerritos to look at it.

If anyone else is interested, please feel free to scoop it up.

I'm surprised he hasn't sold it.  I love the originality of it. No doubt it will need some time spending on it to get it perfect. If it isn't too far away, Don, I think you should go and have a look - assuming you are wanting another 1300!

I would, I might. But 5.5k is still kinda pricey around here in CA where bikes tend to last a long time. I have another lead on a pristine KZ, better shape, with spares, for way less money. Hmm, lets see, if I pick up 2 more I'll have 4. If I get one more, I'll have 5. That's halfway to 10! Oh Snap, the addiction hits again.
