Hi all,
It is with great regrets that I have been informed that Lauri Nurminen from Finland, also known to this forum as LareNurminen, has passed away.
Lauri had been know as the organizer of the Z1300- rally in Finland and a manufacturer of many parts.

I thought I would take a moment to recognize the contributions Lauri gave us over the years. He has been a welcomed member from Finland since October 2014 and has help us out when ever he could with advice and with supplying reproduction parts that had become unobtainable. He and Ari started up a website to provide us with these parts called www.kawasaki1300parts.com

I always looked forward to reading Lauri’s posts whether it be about a rally over in Finland, or advice given on a certain issue or to inform us of the latest reproduction part he and Ari had made available to us. In all of his posts, He never asked for help on an issue but was always there to help out a member with an issue.

Just to recount some of his contributions here are a few pics.

You know a man loves his 1300 when he takes a spare engine and makes a coffee table out of it

As little as I've known Lare, I knew he was larger than life.
I just purchased a set of gage needles from him, still have the envelope.
The motorcycling world just lost a great one.
