WOW !! talk about bots

Each time I visit I see the number of "guests" showing, wow that's a lot of "bots" and "nasties" crawling trying to get in, seems to slow the forum a tad sometimes, or it could be my connection, never mind so long as they don't get in and spam the site, cheers Pete.

Hi Pete,

Most of those bots are good things. They tell the search engines about us and the information available here. More information equals more data collected equals more traffic, more traffic equals a larger community. It's not likely that the spamsters will get in but if they do I will send them to the cornfield each and every one of them.

I have made a few cache adjustments so the numbers will be more representative of the actual number on in the last few minutes instead of hours.

No worries, my Invision forum shows members in last 15 minutes, although no one visits it any more, talk about a ghost town forum
