I don't have a blasting cabinet - I've simply run out of room for more tools
But the Power Washer (after spray paint stripper), works wonders! For my cases, I did one round or degreaser, 3 rounds of paint stripper. All with power washer after letting them sit. Then 10 minutes touch up with wire wheel. Wiped it down with acetone and scotch bright, then painted. Not absolutely perfect - that would have taken an hour of fiddling in the corners by hand.

Absolutely. In my case, I remove the shower head and try to built up some pressure with a finger while sitting in the bathtub, hahaha If there is a will, there is a way :woohoo:

Ok, so I couldn't wait and got spannering. First the block from both sides before I started.
Then the upper crankcase bolts, in order that they came out, from left bottom to right top corner
Then turn it over
Then the lower case bolts, placed as they sit in the block

Then insert three 8mm bolts in the holes provided. These were full of rubbish, so GOOD cleaning and then lots of oil to help the bolts screw in.
...and ... OPEN SESAME!
One crankshaft bushing fell out, but easily identifiable where that come from.
