Another basket case project, but with potentially a different end goal!

Well... you are right, it was manageable.

Its all in! Battery, waterproof fuse holder with 30Amp fuse, M-unit and ignition key switch (the latter will only be used when I don't have my phone on me as with the M-Unit my phone will unlock/un-alarm the bike through Bluetooth).

Now waiting on the speedo, water temp sensor and fuel level sender to arrive, connect all these up, then connect the battery and see where smoke comes out!

Also noticed the water reservoir cap is looking a little shabby...

And I have to now write up the wiring diagram from all my scribbled notes... before I forget what I wrote!

Well,... no smoke! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Everything works out of the box and it turns over. One wire wrong (ignition switch to ground rather than positive - doh!) and that is it!

I now have to find the M.ride app (I couldn't find it on the App store!?) and pair to my phone so I can further configure the settings... although most is exactly as I want it.

Now I have to cut the hole for the speedo in the headlamp... scary, particularly as I don't really have the right tools for that.

Getting there... (but still need to find someone willing to make me a custom exhaust...)

Ok, speedo in and headlight wired up. Nice thing about the Citroen headlight is the small red 'eye' on the top so you can see whether the light is on. Serves as a headlight =on indicator, the high beam is in the speedo.

Found out that the alarm is working as I was fiddling with the bike and forgot it was on... off it went. Good! ;-)

Now I need to fit the speed reader: a small bracket and a magnet that needs to be attached to something moving... challenge!

Experience has taught me, that if your digital speedo has the facility for MULTI magnets as pick ups, then fit as many as you can (normally up to 6) as it will make your speedo much, much more accurate and effective, especially at low speed.
Single magnet not good on a motorbike !
