He must be on holidays Stan. They went to the smokey west coast (BC). Check out his website . Freight cost should be the best if only going to Alberta. -no customs etc.

Small indeed Kawboy. Working in the oil patch has always been precarious. When the price of oil collapses, the jobs go with it - a boom and bust cycle. Medicine Hat has been known as the Gas City. There is a lot of natural gas under those praires. Rudyard Kipling visited there once , and reckoned the Hat was the gate way to Hell. ( the Fiery Furnace).

I haven't had one done in Oz for about a year but the last one cost $110. I can find out a bit more about it from some of the guys on the K100forum who usually get the same guy to do their work
This is a link to him he really does know his game. www.truelocal.com.au/business/stainless-steel-sleeving/brendale

No worries. Just checking. My restoration will go slowly, pretty much due to the costs. My next big step is putting in order the cylinder head and then getting a set of piston rings... Ouch!!! The brake master cylinder I will be mounting much later. But is has to be done. Keep us updated!

Hello all, just picked up an 82 model and the rear master cylinder is in sad shape. I started looking for the repair kit (Kawasaki part # 43020-1024) and have yet to locate one. Just curious as if you re-sleeve to original size, where would might you obtain a replacement piston system?

Thanks all,
