Help!! was created by jbleavins
Forgive my ignorance but I need to know what goes in this reservoir. Just bought this bike and it runs out strong but this res is plumb dry. Is it supposed to be? Right in the middle of picture.

That reservoir is part of the cooling system. You can download a manual from the home page of this site.

Yes 50/50. I also use the wetting agent additive.

All,

to my understanding this is the compensation tank for the colling system, means that it should be half full/empty as standard. Once the bike is warm it might be a bit fuller, once the engine cools down it will suck in whatever it needs from this little tank.

If you would fill it up to the top the engine would press out some of it when hotter, so you'd better just do half of it.

regards,

Holger
