Looking really nice! Any problems with that 7 plate clutch slipping?

They only slip if they have been exposed to the wrong oils with anti-friction additives! And, if they have, they can't simply be cleaned off with lacquer thinner and reused. New friction discs are needed and once assembled, the clutch needs to be intentionally burned a bit in GOOD oil to drive the old, bad oil and lacquer thinner out of the steel, then it needs to be cleaned and reassembled. This works to eliminate the need for ALL new clutch parts, or, you can just replace the whole damn thing and forget the burn-in process. Been through this on both of my recent Voyagers that came with bad oil and slipped pretty easily. Fresh, correct oil, new fiction plates, cleaned and burned-in steel plates and new springs worked wonders. Now I can do burnouts, too, and fourth and fifth don't slip at all under full throttle pulling the sidecar.
I do wonder why Kawasaki went to a smaller diameter clutch on the Voyagers, though!

6cylinder, how much of your old stuff do you still have? I know we've talked about mufflers, but what about the rest?

Hi Bruce,
It's my understanding that the diameter is still the same. They just dropped two plates to reduce the projection of the clutch cover so as to give more room for the rider's right foot.
