Foggy tail/stop light lens

I have a couple of stop light lenses and after being in the aussie sun for a lot of years they got sort of dull and cloudy, thought i'd give that Meguiar's PlastX clear plastic cleaner and polish a go, seems to work well, just did a bit of a polish and they are clear and shiney, bit more elbow grease and they would be great, just thought i'd let you know, cheers Pete.

Hmmmmm ... might give it a go on the gauges Perspex cover, that's looking a bit dull also, damn theres a lot of plastic

Wonder how it might work on a windshield on a Voyager?

To keep my glider canopy free of scratches I use a 2 part "Mequiars" cleaner and polish. This may be a less aggressive product then KZA uses. The 2 bottle kit does a remarkable job but does take a lot of elbow when initially starting. I found that deep scratches must be carefully prepared with 1200 wet-n-dry before this product will give results. Once the item has been polished to a satisfactory finish the frequent routine cleaning will keep the plastic in a crystal like appearance. I found that a clean cotton dish-towell or a piece of felt worked well to apply and work the products. This left an almost "swirl" free finish which is the goal when you have to look through the canopy, facing the sun. Signal/tail-light lens would certainly be less critical. Well worth the effort.
