Headlight Body Brackets was created by Lucien-Harpress
I'm slowly getting my 1980 KZ1300 back together, and one particular stumbling block (of many) is the placement of the two headlight body brackets that allow the adjustment up or down of the headlight.
There's two pieces- an angled piece with a grommet that bolts to the bottom of the bucket, and a second bracket with a short curved track that is bolted to the actual bike. My question- where is is bolted? The only thing I can see close is either the two bolts that hold on the horns, or the two bolts in the front brake line splitter.
Could anyone shoot a quick photo of this area? I wish is were as simple as bolting up what I have and seeing where the holes land, but I was unable to find a lower piece, so I'm having to weld something up and make it work. Thanks in advance.
(The part number in question is 11034-1290. I just need to know where it bolts on the frame.)

The bracket fastens to the junction piece where the 3 brake hoses meet. The 2 bottom holes fasten the junction to the frame and the upper 2 are for the headlight bracket. I tried to upload 2 pictures but kept getting a Fatal Error message. I have also had problems adding pics to my gallery because the size was too big. I don't get it, it's just a normal 14 pixel camera!

Thanks for the photos. Looks like this is going to be a bit more cutting and welding than I thought.... Oh well, it is what it is. Thank you sir!
