I just went to Home Depot and the contact cement and glue section is a literally ZOO - all filled with gorillas!!! Gorilla glue that is, maybe 30 kinds of it. I have noooo clue what the heck they are, and description doesn't help - pretty much all say wood, leather, blah blah blah. I've read somewhere about 3M products as well, and others.
What glue or cement do you guys use? I changed the shape of the foam and will need to apply some adhesive to keep the top part of the aftermarket cover in place, and attach a bit of foam here and there.
Also - it would be great to strengthen the underside foam surface, as it became brittle in places. Seems spray would be best, but I don't want it to stay sticky!

Maybe you can try weather strip adhesive (yellow glue) very sticky and I don't think it desolves the foam.

Your local auto parts should be able to get a can for you if they don’t have it in the shelf.

Personally, I'd just buy any Aerosol "contact" adhesive. You don't need to soak the foam and cover-back. Typically an even spray coat on each piece is more then adequate.

I went to Can. Tire and Home Depot asking exactly for this - no luck, they know shit... Could you suggest a link?
