This afternoon I finally got time to pick up the mighty z and being a Kawasaki they still amaze me, I will give you a quick history of this bike and yeh I know you want pics and they will come soon ;)

This bike had new valves as cam adjuster shit it self jumped the cam and the rest is history, bike was rebuilt and the guy just wanted to take it home for the night but was advised not to until they had fix cam adjuster this is just after it was rebuilt. Anyway you guessed it same thing happened so she was rebuilt and finished properly before being ridden . The owner was a highway patrol officer apparently and one night some drugo rammed his car resulting in his retirement and inability to ride bikes because of his injuries.
Bike sat for about 7yrs until bought by a local mechanic, he removed the carbies and had them cleaned but that's all he had done and that was about 5yrs ago.
Today I bought the bike without carbies fitted and few spares ect ect, got it home and couldn't help myself put in a battery then sat the tank of my xl on top as I havnt fitted new tank yet, checked oil and coolant and put carbies back on (just pushed into rubbers, not clamped, no air cleaner connected, one throttle cable connected, and then after 10 - 12 yrs of sitting the old bitch fired straight up with a few backfires for a few seconds then after that I only needed to touch the start button and she just kept fireing up, no wonder I love Kawasakis ;)
