hi. im Minseok Seo from south korea.
a few weeks ago luckily gotta 1987 zn1300 as well.
in korea only 3 of z1300 are exist and 2 of them are zn1300
i really want zn1300 to kz1300 (z1300) so bad.
from googling i check the frames are different
and tank, side cover, rear sutffs are different.
i wonder the swing arm also different?
im looking for the frames of z1300 on ebay everyday.
hope i can cut it and swap on to my zn1300 (i think this is the best way to switching..)
please let me the tips plz.!!!

Maybe somebody else can confirm this, but I think the engine and most of the cycle parts of the ZN1300 would fit a KZ1300 frame, if you can obtain one.
Your two Kawasakis look great !

Hi There,
the engine should fit with no issue
the swing arm, drive shaft and rear wheel are different for sure
but I want to say that if you take the complete set from the ZN it should fit in the Z frame
the electrical parts under the seat have a different setup
side covers, seat, gauges are different, the ZN have more features in the electrical system
it is much more then the frame you need if you try to full convert from ZN to Z
