It's more likely that the switch was left in the PARK position and the park lights drained the battery. Otherwise it's OFF or RUN -which simply supplies power to the main switch via the 30 amp main fuse. If the battery is being drained otherwise then it would have to be further into the harness, past the main switch.

I removed the side switch, connected the white and white/blk wires to bypass the side main switch and i srill have a 2.51 volt drain on the battery with the top main switch in the off position.

If i disconnect my voltage regulator red wire or blk/white wire the drain voltage goes to 0 volts. Nice!
