Hi McZed,

Thanks for the welcome. I get myself up to Scotland 3 or 4 times a year as my Son lives in Kilsyth. As for them Z1300's being a "big ugly beast" I suppose they are to some people but they are just like a fine wine, they just get better with age.

Latest update is I've now just purchased a KZ1300 A4 but can't pick it up for 10 days or so as I'm on holiday from the 2nd January. I'll keep everyone posted on progress and I'm sure I will be asking a lot of silly questions.

I am sure that you will find the forum to be an invaluable resource when you need advice or spares etc: the members on here have helped me out on many, many occassions when my bike has had issues. Pop some pics up when you can.

Welcome to KZ1300.COM! Ask away, The folks here are more than willing to share their knowledge and experience. Also we like pics so don't hold back.

The forum is currently set up with a 2.5 meg upper size limit but I've found that it's best to limit the pixels to 1200 by 900 or something near there.

Hi Martin, I'm about 15 miles away from you in Ainsdale, will be good to see another 13 out and about this summer. The Scotch Piper in Maghull and the Carousel in Southport on a Wednesday evening are regular stops for me.

Now that's the spirit I haven't sen on the forum. Invites to ride nights. We certainly need more of this. May be we should have a tab for "Local Events" and post things like this.
