Hey guys,

Just came into possession of my older brothers A5 (swapped my cruiser for it). He's had it since new and has racked up a LOT of k's but it still runs pretty well.

Pics below - as you can see he's set it up for highway cruising. I'll be taking it back to bare....and pretty much keeping it as stock as possible. These bikes are really starting to become collectors items over here now so I plan on keeping it.

Anyway, I've already grabbed some nice bits of info from this site - hope to talk to you all a lot over the coming months as I delve into this beast.....

Oh yes - that's Wags the Dog (from The Wiggles)

Cheers......

Welcome from UK, it's identical to mine except in one piece :), looks like a bit of spit and polish it will be a stunner.

Cheers - thanks for the welcome.

It's certainly collected some "patina" over the years. It would probably clean up OK but I think I like the survivor look it has.

Anyway, much better now without the fairing and rack:

And here was my brother's solution for clearing the tank when he put lower bars on:

You really have to think what you're doing when you try and turn on the indicators when it's like this. I'm probably going to get higher bars anyway (closer to stock) so I should be able to spin the switch block back to normal.

Other than that, it's not charging very well and it's a bitch to start. Looks like some carb surgery and voodoo electrickery is in my future for this one B)

Giday welcome from the frozen hills. Looks like we should get a SEQ gang going. All I need to do is get mine going.
