Lol Billy, yep September and it now runs been dragging my heels a bit, anyway it was great to hear it roar into life, didn't use the head had another one on the side so chucked that one on instead, will re-build that head shortly. Got a 140-150 PSI across the bores when I compression tested that was great for a cold engine. Having a few snags on the front brakes at the moment. looks like the best option is probably to lash out on new lines, banjos etc. Hard work has been done really just the finishing bits take a bit of time. You need to get that Z of yours out next year and bring him to Gods Country leave the Goldwing in Scotland Lol

I’ve just taken the panels and tank to the paint sprayers to be painted the original luminous starlight blue. The guy recons it will take two or three weeks due to the holidays. He was the third body shop I tried, the first two weren’t interested. One wanted me to do the do the decals myself; I told him I wanted them clear coated in, he said it couldn’t be done. The person who is doing the job didn’t see a problem so I’m crossing my fingers he does a good job.

Your Decals should be lacquered in, would avoid them if they say that can't be done doesn't say a lot for there professional skills. When I did my green one I took all panels, mudguard and tank to a sign writer prior to sprayer finishing the lacquering of the tank. He striped for me then it went back to painters for him to finish with lacquer.

I agree Mark
The first guy I went to should give up the paint business. He was more like a merchant banker.
