Hi Mark, welocme: I'm another UK Zed13 owner (pretty sure we are a steady growing following): not too far from you over in Lincoln: was over at Brancaster & Cley-next-Sea couple of weeks ago: nice part of the country.
Pops some pics up when you get the chance.
Cheers Tim.

Hello Vulture,
May I ask how many of those 110000 miles you have put on the bike? is the engine still on its original valves, rings, etc.? What is it like cosmetically? What characteristics of the 1300 appeal, or otherwise?
Thanks in anticipation of your reply.

Hi the bike had 30000 on the clock when I bought, still on original Pistons, had a new set of rings and a very light hone and a set of valve stem seals at 90000 miles as started to burn a bit of oil,.
In the 25 years I've owned her she's only let me down twice, both were punctures, she just keeps on going and going.other bikes have came and gone but she will stay until I'm physically not able to ride her due to age etc.hard to put a finger on any one character more of a combination of everything.
Cosmetics are good ,most black parts a power coated, and was repainted Kawasaki green a couple of years ago.am planning to return it to the standard black some day,was Blue when I bought her.
Feel to ask any questions, will post some pics up when back together, heads off at the moment, can chain idler gear worn out, bought a steel one from Liska racing.
Cheers. Mark
