Just to set the record straight, the Carmo igniter they offer is for the 1979-1980 models (A1-A2)
The 1981-A3 igniter is unique and the ONLY functioning replica is offered by us. You can find it at:

We have sold around 50 of them and each unit is tested on a real 1981 bike, so they really work!
We are currently developing a replica for the Hall sensor (timing trigger) used in 1981 bikes only.

The part # for the A3 igniter is 21119-1023 NOT 21119-1005. Interestingly Carmo advertises the 21119-1005 as an A3 replacement which should be incorrect and misleading - Link to Carmo 21119-1005 Igniter replacement

I found the correct part (21119-1005) at web site "partzilla" for $815.33. I think they had two left... Mike
