Hey! Dave.You would have to be very precise in the cover you want.I found that some of the covers within the same production year are different.I needed a starter clutch cover for my 79 and the 80,81,84 bikes I have did not fit the 79.If you can send a pic of yours or one you want I will gladly try to match it.So 36bp + shipping,let me know

on the left hand side of the headstock there is a small voltage regulator that controls the fue land temp gauges.
if you still have it i would be interested.

With any of those Constant Voltage units if the earth on the unit isn't perfectly clean and conducting 100% it will give inaccurate readings. I personally would much rather have slight variation in readings on the gauges than put up with the performance you get from the CV units
