In 1979 when these bikes first came out , most were sold as naked bikes. By 1980 , Kawasaki produced their first touring , made at the factory touring bike with fairing, bags and rear trunk - the B model. A lot of dealerships were also converting naked bikes and installing Vetter fairings, also Calafia and several others. Only the Calafia fairing used the original headlight and bucket - the rest were mostly round headlights like yours, with the result that many bikes were bought with the OEM headlight, fork ears and mounting hardware missing . Now they are hard to find and therefore expensive to buy because the demand for these parts is quite high.
Lauri sells the fork ears and the German shop sells the headlight bucket - they ain't cheap if you live in North America. These are OEM replica parts.
If you are not fussy about original , ebay have lots of fork ears and different headlights to chose from , and at much less cost.
