I'm with Scotch on this one. I love the challenge. I've straightened shock tubes to within .001" with no consequences. In this case a little heat to bring it to a dull cherry red and then straighten out. Concentrate the heat on the inside of the bend. What you're trying to do is "stretch" the inside of the bend.
