Somehow I have all of the carburetor parts I need. . . save one. One stupid, tiny little part. It's the fuel nipple that bridges between the two carb bodies; the Kawasaki part number is 92005-1018.

Partzilla said they had it in stock, so I ordered one. Today my order was abruptly canceled. The only one I'm seeing is on eBay but it's ridiculously expensive after shipping.

Does anyone happen to have a spare rack of carbs or some carb parts laying around? I'd happily pay for the piece. I know I have it sitting in my garage somewhere, but hell if I can figure out where the hell it rolled!

I think you might be able to find CNC aluminium copies of that part if you have the dimensions

I can get the dimensions easily enough. From the photo I've seen it's 5.5cm long and I can extrapolate the ring grooves. The width I can get from the T-joint (that I have) next to it.

Where would one go to look for this?

Maybe if you send Scotch a PM and ask him nicely, he could mic one up for you and give you the dimensions. He probably has a set of carbs apart. Manufacturing tees and tubes might even be in his "next to come pieces".

Sent off just such a message.

This community rocks. :)

It's really sad that I've not been more active here over recent months, but travel and work took over my life for a while. Well, that and I was focused on another couple of hobbies for a bit and it felt kind of shameful to be part of the forum when I wasn't making any actual progress on my own KZ. I mean, I've had it for almost 2 years now and it still doesn't run.

Granted, that two years has been rather off and on with regards to the progress I've made, but there's been a TON done at least.

. . And a ton yet to go!
