What AERIALO said is true, we reproduce the -81 igniter and have delivered over 40 pieces in the last five years.
We are currently having a set of 10 units being manufactured and those will probably be the last ones we do.

The stainless stuff, air box covers, fork ears, mufflers and complete exhausts will be manufactured as needed also in the future.

I also have sourced speedo and rev counter needles with original dimensions, if you need any just send me a message or buy them off eBay.
I also have the drive shaft protective rubber boot replica available.

What is the best option then for a spare igniter module for an A1? I'd like to have one around in case mine ever goes poof.

the early ones don't seem to have problems with the igniter module, but they can have issues with the pick up coils going out. The igniter modules for the 79-80 kz1300's can be found on e-bay on in salvage yards. Dynatech also made an aftermarket ignition for the A1 bikes, it's no longer produced but old stock comes up on e-bay from time to time. I also believe that some German company made an ignition for the A1's as well.

I'm going through some electrical problems right now and I keep hoping I don't blow up the igniter while I am sorting it out. If electrical is your thing you can check it out in the electrical sub forum. In short, having trouble with the engine cut off and starter switches.

I'd still like to have one on hand in case it ever does go up.
