Just wondering if 6 into 1's second hand for a reasonable price are out there...presumably some in the US, I would like one to experiment with as the sound of a screaming 6 is my biggest grin factor about owning a 13, I heard one or two fantastic ones back in the day.

they can be found but for a steep price.
was a second hand one on ebay a while ago, just the headers and collectors
i stopped bidding at £450 ridiculous.. a new one was only £550

I just got a new to me 81 KZ1300.

The exhaust is just about rotted off at the collector so I went searching for a 6-1 header. I had one on my 79 which I stupidly sold in 2001. After casting about on the net it seemed they were no longer made and very hard to find.

I was able to find the company that originally made mine... DG Performance.

Called them up today and spoke to a very nice fellow named Mike. It turns out they had none in stock but they will be making me one and it should be ready in the next few weeks. I was thrilled! I remember how good mine used to sound with it on.

So, it turns out they are still making them and they are very reasonable at $700 US.

They used to show up regularly on EBay. I picked a set up about a year ago for U.S. $649.00

That was the first place I looked. I figured it would be a long wait for me and I'm glad to see DG still builds them so I don't have to wait. My exhaust is pretty rotten and I really want to ride it this summer.
