Rick, there is a currently a lovely restored Z13 up for sale on UK eBay for an eye-watering £11500 GBP - think thats about $19000 Aus
That said, he might get lucky as I saw a Kwak H1 500 Triple sell 2 weeks ago here in the UK for £8750 GBP - or approx $15000 Aus: crazy money

But its that old saying - the bike is worth what someone will pay. These sellers might just find someone- in a moment of weakness- hit the " buy it now " button.
You are probably right with that imported American bike. You Aussie's have been lucky in having the choice- if you want to pay - of having the fuel injected bikes.

Wrong throttle and control box for a '79, cables came out of the top, idiot lights are wrong also, proper aussie one never had the Headlamp white one there, it was blanked out, and I have a short rear fender spare and it doesn't have the side reflectors (but maybe mine fell off ??) (I have a long one on now), wrong rear vision mirrors and what is that mounting bracket on the front of the frame just behind the rad ??, yeh she's an import, but I don't think it was an original naked Z13 ???
